Some of the Duties and responsibilities* of a Pharmacist at Vasan Eye Care Hospital
Prescriptions on demand!
- Indenting of fast moving drugs in relation to stock levels
- Responding to medication-related queries from within the hospital and walk-in querries
- Responsible for regular check of expiry of drugs
- Liaising with consultants and other fellow health care professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and economic drug treatment
- Communicating to patients on the effects, dosage and route of administration of their drug treatments
- Ensure medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely to ensure freshness and potency
- Being responsible for the accurate dispensing and timely distribution of drugs and medicines for inpatients and outpatients
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade as requested.
- Generating reports and maintaining statutory compliance
